We commit to minimize our impact to the environment and implement best practices that promotes sustainability in our office developments. Part of our local bio preservation initiatives are ensuring that the local plant species are used and propagated in our campus type buildings. Such are evident in Baguio Technohub, where it is revered as a garden haven and a place to experience the local plant and flowers of Baguio and Benguet. Other initiatives such as helping preserve the local bird species and migratory routes is also present in UP Technohub, where local fruit bearing trees are promoted to serve as a haven for local birds and as a migratory stop over for crossing bird species.

 

Pedestrian and Transit Connectivity
Transportation has always been a key factor in the direction of our properties as this is a major consideration also for multinational locators especially in the BPO industry. Accessibility to public transport allows our facilities to be easily accessible and at the same time contribute to the reduction of carbon emissions from private vehicles. Such initiatives are seen in our facilities near malls, terminals and main thoroughfares. Many of our properties even boast of actual terminals integrated in the property to provide direct access to the public transport system. Aside from the proximity to public transport, our properties also consider easy access to the other parts of the community such as retail, residential and amenities through covered walkways, elevated walkways, access doors and pedestrian arcades. These help encourage our occupants to walk and have a better appreciation of the property by experiencing the community where it is situated.

 

Eco-Efficiency
Energy reduction and spend management are key priorities which help reduce costs and carbon footprint in our office developments.

The implementation of Non CAPEX initiatives (NCIS) and Enercon capex projects further reduces the common area consumption of our buildings. Information awareness to the locators are also being done to encourage energy efficient retrofits within the leased spaces.
